Which SPD (Lightning Surge Protector Device) is the right one for you?
The TV/SAT is a SPD (Surge Protection Device) that is simply plugged into a mains outlet near the Smart TV, which in turn the aerial cables are then connected to it – which places the TV/SAT in between the lightning strike and the LCD Smart TV it is protecting. This device has a 3 prong Mains plug included, which means that you can plug the TV, a light, DVD player or another electrical device into it for protection.
